Description

Join Domtar and SCA on Saturday, September 24th to repaint playgrounds and restore wildlife gardens at the BC Wildlife Park in Kamloops.

Domtar has joined forces with the Student Conservation Association -- an organization dedicated to developing tomorrow's conservation leaders -- to lead community service projects at Domtar sites across the US. Together, we will restore parks and other natural resources in locations where Domtar employees live and work.

The BC Wildlife Park is a zoo and wildlife rehabilitation center supporting over 70 threatened or endangered species in the interior of British Columbia, including arctic wolves, cougars, grizzly bears, and bald eagles. Domtar employees and their families will join SCA volunteers at the Wildlife Park to give playgrounds a fresh coat of paint and conduct fall clean-up in gardens throughout the park.
